Terms of use
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “the Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the services (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) provided by Kulukulu Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).
Users of the Service are requested to read and agree to these Terms before using the Service.
Article 1 (Application of the Terms)
These Terms shall apply to all relationships between users and the Company in connection with the use of the Service.
Article 2 (Eligibility for Use)
- This Service is intended primarily for elementary school students.
- The consent of a parent or guardian is required to use the Service.
Article 3 (Preparation of Usage Environment)
- Users are responsible for preparing and maintaining the devices, internet connections, and communication environments necessary to use the Service, as well as for any associated costs.
- The Company shall not be liable in any way if the Service cannot be used properly due to the user not meeting the recommended system requirements.
Article 4 (Responsibilities of Guardians)
- In particular, for lower-grade students, guardians shall provide appropriate support and supervision as necessary to ensure safety and proper use.
- Guardians shall ensure that the user’s usage environment is properly maintained and that the Service can be used safely and appropriately.
- Guardians are responsible for managing and supervising the user’s conduct and device usage during lessons.
Article 5 (Handling of Lesson Recordings and Educational Materials)
- Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of educational materials, videos, or audio data provided through the Service is strictly prohibited without the prior consent of the Company.
- Recorded lesson data may be provided to students and guardians for review or as part of learning support. It is strictly prohibited to use such recordings for any other purpose.
- Users and guardians shall not disclose, share, or make the recorded data public on social media or any other platform, nor use it for commercial purposes.
Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
- Acts of harassment, defamation, or disruption toward other students, teachers, or third parties, including behavior that interferes with lessons.
- Acts that infringe upon the intellectual property or other rights of the Company or any third party.
- Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or disclosure of lesson recordings, materials, or teaching content.
- Acts that the Company deems inappropriate or disruptive.
- Acts in which students, without the consent or supervision of a guardian, exchange personal contact information or communicate privately with teachers or related parties.
- Acts of creating or managing unofficial groups or communities using the Company’s name or the Service name.
Article 7 (Rules Regarding Social Media Posts)
- When posting on social media, students and guardians must not include personal information such as photos, videos, or names that may identify other students or teachers.
- It is strictly prohibited to publish educational materials or lesson recordings used in class on social media or any other public platform.
- When sharing impressions or experiences about the Service on social media, users shall make every effort to represent the Company and its Service accurately and appropriately.
Article 8 (Rules for Communication Between Users)
- Communication between students and guardians shall be limited to official channels provided by the Company (such as classes, consultations, and official LINE groups).
- The Company shall not be held responsible for any private communication conducted outside official channels (e.g., through social media or chat applications), even if done with guardian consent.
- The creation of unofficial communities or groups using the Company’s or Service’s name is strictly prohibited.
Article 9 (Copyrights)
- The copyrights for all materials, documents, videos, and audio content provided through this Service shall belong to the Company or the rightful owners.
- Users are prohibited from reproducing, reusing, or selling any of these materials without prior permission from the Company.
Article 10 (Changes, Suspension, or Termination of Service)
The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service without prior notice to users in any of the following cases:
- When maintenance, inspection, or system failure occurs.
- In cases of natural disasters, power outages, or communication failures.
- When the Company deems it unavoidable due to operational or technical reasons.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
- The Company shall not be held liable for any inability to use the Service resulting from communication failures, system malfunctions, or the user’s device environment.
- The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or effectiveness of the lesson content or learning outcomes, although every effort will be made to ensure quality.
- The Company shall not be responsible for any disputes or issues arising between users and third parties.
- The Company may change class materials, content, or schedules when necessary, and shall not be held liable for any damages arising from such changes.
Article 12 (Withdrawal and Suspension of Use)
- If a user violates these Terms, the Company may suspend or terminate the user’s access to the Service, or take necessary disciplinary action without prior notice.
- Users (or their guardians) may withdraw from the Service at any time by following the designated withdrawal procedures.
Article 13 (Trial Use)
- When the Company offers a trial program, the applicable terms and duration shall be separately determined by the Company.
- These Terms shall also apply during the trial period unless otherwise specified.
- If a trial user violates these Terms, the Company reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate access to the trial program.
Article 14 (Amendment of Terms)
The Company may revise or amend these Terms as necessary.
Any revisions shall take effect when the updated Terms are posted on the Company’s website.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
- In the event of any dispute arising in connection with this Service, the Tokyo District Court of Japan shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms shall come into effect on September 1, 2025.
